We had admired Robena since seeing her in 2004 at the National show in Harrisburg, where she placed 2nd 2 year old.
She is a direct descendant of our beautiful GCH Rose Petal FS 92, whose son, Petriarch, we sold to the Vance's in 1998.She is a gorgeous doe, deep and long bodied, with a beautiful topline, and exquisite udder attachment!  After the Vance's sold their herd, we lost track of Robena, and were delighted to find her again in the herd of Kim Hull in Texas. The Rose Petal line has been the most consistently outstanding doe line in the history of our herd (see Rose of Sharon, Black Velvet, Sheba, Bruno). "B-Rock" was our choice for a new junior herd sire who could bring in new blood lines while still carrying some of the strongest of the Roeburn genetic lines.

At this point, B-Rock is at an awkward stage of growth, yet has some obvious strengths. He is an extremely dairy buck, upstanding, sharp in the withers, and correct in his leg set. We would like to see more depth in the chest, smoothness of blending in the front end, and overall size.  We anticipate that he will throw excellent mammary attachment, and increased milk production. He will be used lightly this season due to his young age.
