D: SGCH Roeburn’s SVL Layla 5*M FS 91

Lainey was a very stylish, long-bodied, smoothly blended doe with an exceptionally level topline and rump. In her first show of the ’96 season, as a two year old, she went GCH (Leg 1), BOB, and Best Doe in Show! Lainey easily completed her Championship as a three year old. She was extremely dairy, with excellent body capacity, and correct angle to the rear legs. She had a very high, tightly attached rear udder, and a smoothly attached fore udder. Lainey was a valuable brood doe as well: her daughter Layla appraised 90 and daughter Lindsey, an outstanding milker, is appraised at 89. Both does have exceptionally high, tight rear udders with outstanding fore extension. Lainey has sons working across the country; after three years in our herd, son Legend was sold to Donna Kidd of Virginia in 2001. She is the dam of two of our herd sires, Limerick and Lancelot. Lainey’s Hall of Fame photo shows her in late lactation, 10/99.
