D: GCH Roeburn’s KVF Rose Petal 5*M FS 92

One of our all time most impressive and dearly loved does, and an outstanding brood doe as well, Sharon is smoothly blended, powerful, extremely wide and deep throughout, and has her sire’s very level topline. Sharon’s mammary is exquisite, and is among the best we have ever bred. She has ideal teat size and placement, an extremely high and wide rear udder (45 on linear appraisal) and her dam’s well extended and smoothly blended fore udder (40 on linear appraisal), and a wide and beautifully arched escutcheon. Shown only once as a dry yearling, Sharon placed 1st and Junior Champion. Shown 5 times as a two year old first freshener, Sharon placed 4 X 1st, 1 X 2nd. We were thrilled as well with Sharon’s production as a first freshener, as she attained a new Roeburn record (at that time) for our highest first freshening production! After having a false pregnancy in 2003, when she freshened again in 2004, Sharon rose to the top right away. In four shows, she placed 3 X 1st, 1X 2nd, 3 X GCH, finishing her championship! Sharon has shown herself to be an excellent brood doe as well: she has sons working in herds in NH, Maine, Arkansas, and Canada. She has two GCH daughters, Sheba and Velvet, both of whom, like Sharon, appraised 92!! Her 2006 son, Bruno, out of *B Sunshine Seign Sedric, appraised 91 this year, and is showing himself to be an outstanding herd sire.  This doe line has been extremely consistent for us and the depth of quality is very impressive; Sheba and Velvet are 4th generation GCHs.
